Dear Patients of Princeton Dental Center

We hope this letter finds you and your family well. These last few months our community has been through a lot, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our typical routines and habits. While much has changed, our commitment to your safety has not.

Infection control has been a top priority at the practice since we opened. Our infection control procedures ensure that when you receive care you are both safe and comfortable. We would like to expand on the procedures we follow in the practice to keep patients and staff safe.

At Princeton Dental Center we follow infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). These recommendations allow us to stay up to date on new rulings or guidance as it is issued, which ensures the utmost safety for patients and staff at the office.

Some changes that have been implemented that you may notice at your next visit follow:

  • Screening questions will be asked prior to your appointment, typically with the confirmation call. These same questions will be asked when you arrive at the clinic and your temperature will be taken.
  • We will have hand sanitizer for you to use upon entry to the office, as well as a mask available if you do not present with your own.
  • Items from the reception area, such as magazines and children’s toys have been removed as there is not currently a sufficient way to clean and disinfect these items.
  • Appointment times may be altered to limit exposure to others, please note that it is crucial you arrive at your designated time to reduce others exposure and ensure all guidelines are able to be followed properly.
  • We will do our best to allow sufficient time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as reduce the number of patients in the waiting room.
  • For minors, only one consenting adult will be allowed to accompany them. Please note, if you must bring other siblings, you will be asked to wait in your vehicle.

Additional changes that the office has taken for your safety:

  • Installing HEPA filter in the heating and cooling system to ensure filtration.
  • Installing iWave- an ultraviolet light within the vents to reduce airborne contaminants such as COVID-19.
  • Face shields for office staff that may be directly exposed to aerosolized particles.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer questions you may have about the changes in procedures to keep you, and every patient, safe within our practice. To make an appointment please call our office at 763-389-3126.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty, and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.
